<chemistry>
An orbital is a 3D region of space around an atom’s nucleus where you are most likely to find an electron. Think of it as a fuzzy cloud or a “house”, where an electron spends 90-95% of its time. For e.g When a ceiling fan is off, you see the individual blades (orbits). When it’s spinning fast, you see a blurry circle (orbital). The blade is somewhere in that blur, but it’s everywhere at once to your eyes.
